What is the most embarrassing moment you encountered in brother-sister relationships?

I have a sister, she's 17. I also have a brother who's 12. Even though there's an age gap of somewhat 5 years between them, they seem pretty much the same to me.

This song, Bad Ideas by Tessa Violet, I accidentally came across, had got stuck in my head because of the catchiness and playful vibes.

I'm alone in the room, earphones against my ears, the song starts playing, I'm a bit drowsy. I get the earphones out, decide to get a water bottle from the kitchen.

There's still no one in the room, I'm feeling myself, as I walk out I randomly start humming the lines, o u t l o u d:

“If you think you miss me, c'mon back and kiss me!"

She. Was. In. The. Way. My. Sister. Heard. Me.

The awkwardness was through the roof as we looked at each other, expectedly she didn't utter a word but holy mother of God, you know when they say:

*Eyes are the window to the soul.”

I learnt it to the core that day.

The way her eyes looked at me, they conveyed:

“Sachin, you? You're the first, golden child our parents decide to have? You're our ideal, elder brother, we're supposed to look up to you but look at you! “
