What drama were you very happy to have been elsewhere when Karen finally decided to get too involved?

The “Victoria’s Secret Karen” incident.

Basically, a Nigerian woman, Ijeoma Ukenta, was shopping at a Victoria’s Secret in New Jersey. While browsing a clothing rack, a white woman named Abigail Elphick came uncomfortably close to her. When Ijeoma asked the woman to “back up”, she did what any sane person would do and told the girl at the cash register she’d been threatened with assault. When Ijeoma began filming (a wise choice) Abigail, now dubbed the “Victoria’s Secret Karen” tried to strike her. Realizing she’d fucked up, Abigail completely flipped her shit- crying, screaming, faking a panic attack, and eventually charging Ijeoma like a fucking bull. Of course, mall security was called and this gripping, 6-part series can be found on YouTube.

I mean, Jesus Christ, I would’ve hated to be in the store during this shit. Like, just the fact that this grown-ass woman thought it was a good idea to potentially ruin this woman’s life by creating false allegations, become physically violent, and then pull this kind of shit in a public place, while she knew she was being filmed is mind boggling. She should’ve just accepted her fate at that point. And if you look in the background, the other customers just look so uncomfortable- and I would be too.

But, on the topic of the two customers in the first picture, the one in the foreground did ask Ijeoma to stop filming. Like, alright, I get that you don’t wanna deal with Abby’s bullshit. But she’s the one choosing to act like a toddler. Ijeoma made the best decision she could by filming. That way nobody could make shit up ’cause it was all on camera. This bitch isn’t the victim, don’t treat her like one.
