What do you think of Alan Ritchson's response to his belligerent neighbor?

Reacher star Alan Ritchson recently made the news.

His neighbor, who was bothered by the sound of the motorcycles Ritchson and his sons were riding through the neighbor as they were leaving for a trip, decided to step in front of the actor’s motorcycle and physically attacked him. Ritchson got on his feet and punched the neighbor.

For the record, this is Alan Ritchson. He’s 6′3″ and 250 pounds of solid muscle. He has no history of getting into fights or altercations, has no known scandals or controversies and he is, by all accounts, a rather relaxed fellow who is generally liked by his co-stars — no bad stories of diva behavior or entitlement that you may occasionally hear of some stars. Taylor, the neighbor, spread stories about how he was attacked, how Ritchson began the whole thing, and Ritchson said nothing. His only statement was a quote by Napoleon Bonaparte: “Never interrupt your enemy when he’s making a mistake.”

Police released a statement yesterday that all charges against Ritchson were dropped, and that they watched several videos taken of the altercation and ruled he acted in self-defense. Sometimes the best response is a non-response. Well that, and a well-deserved punch.
